ABSTRACT SILK

I have done the Journal Quilt Project every year for the Houston International Quilt Festival. This project was started through the Quilt Art chat list on the internet : http://www.quiltart.com/
I have been on this art quilt chat list for about twelve years.

This abstract silk piece is 8 1/2" x 11' and has a batik background, rough edge applique pieces of silks and favorite old buttons.
I usually do realistic pieces and am trying to some abstracts now. I did this piece for May 2005
